Missing Scene Songs

Missing Scene have been creating music for over two decades, with their first full-length album Derelicts and Broken Dreams released in 2007. Tracks from that album, along with a host of other original tunes, have appeared on Western TV stations such as MTV UK and MTV Denmark, Japanese TV stations like BS Asahi, and in video games like Konami's Winning 11 (Pro Evolution Soccer)

While their second album Whole New Morning had been put on hold for ages, it is now back in production, and a collection of earlier songs called Songs from the North Swamp is also due out by the end of next year.

Always and Always

"Always and Always" is a song we wrote for "Winning 11" (aka "Pro Evolution Soccer") and sold to Konami. It was used on various editions of the game and in advertisements, but not on every country's version. They wanted more of a Brit rock sound for the game, and this is what we came up with.

This was one of my favorite songs that Dave wrote during his time with Missing Scene, and it was also one of our most requested. This is a live performance featuring Mitsu on guitar and Hide on drums during the World Festa Yokohama in 2004. A typhoon had hit, but when the rains calmed down (when the eye of the storm was over us), we were told to run out and do our set. Unbelievably, the rain held off until our last song or two.
