For more than twenty years, I have worked as a broadcaster, educator, performer, writer, and communications professional in both Japan and the United States.
Whether through radio, teaching, public speaking, music, or the written word, my goal has always been the same: helping people understand ideas, cultures, and each other.

Communication is the thread that connects everything
Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to work in a variety of creative and educational roles.
As co-host of NHK Radio's Kiso Eigo 2 (基礎英語2) daily program, I helped learners across Japan develop their English skills. Through university teaching, corporate training, live performances, and public speaking, I have worked with audiences ranging from small classrooms to nationwide broadcasts.
Each role has required the same core skills: communication, creativity, empathy, and the ability to connect with people from different backgrounds.
